White Castle’s menu offers delicious small square burgers known as Sliders.

In fact, Jamie Richardson, the chain’s Vice-President, said they’re not even a hamburger company. They’re a slider company. And that’s what makes them so special in my opinion.

Sure, there are other places making small square burgers which resemble sliders nowadays. But we all know White Castle is the original slider provider.

Walter A. Anderson and Edgar “Billy” Ingram founded the company back in 1921 in Wichita, KS. Which means they have been making the Midwestern delicacy for over 95 years now.

Although the restaurant’s most popular item is the original slider made with beef and cheese, there are other offerings worth trying.

Some of our favorite are their delicious fish and grilled chicken sliders. Their new non-meat, vegan friendly sliders are awesome too. They taste like real meat; they bleed like real meat, and they’re also bigger.

White Castle also started offering plant-based beef sliders just a few days ago. Non-meat sliders are a great option for vegans and health conscious individuals who love going to popular fast-food joints.

The first time I heard about White Castle was in the 2004 cult movie “Harold and Kumar go to White Castle”. I wasn’t living in the US at the time. I had just moved to Paris, so I had to wait a long time to try them out for myself.

The first time I ate at White Castle was in 2016 during a trip to Las Vegas, over 10 years after I first heard of it.

If you’ve ever been to Vegas, you’ve probably noticed that the city hosts some of the most popular burger joints. It’s probably the only place where you’ll find all the top hamburger restaurants in the U.S.

Restaurants like Shake Shack, Five Guys, and White Castle are easy to find, and you can get to most locations on foot.

White Castle in Las Vegas is located outside the Best Western Casino Royale on the Las Vegas strip. That location is busy, but the service is quick, which means you’ll get your order fast.

Sometimes finding an empty table can be a challenge. But if it’s your first time eating at the Castle, it is definitely worth the wait.
